A Coolangatta bathroom, ensuite and laundry renovation on the Gold Coast, this project was completed by ILK Bathrooms for a busy family of five, transforming a series of cramped, poorly configured wet areas into highly functional and cohesive spaces designed for everyday living.

The original layout lacked practical storage and efficient circulation. ILK Bathrooms reconfigured the spatial planning by relocating the main bathroom access from the living room through the laundry, improving flow and usability. The former shared toilet was closed off, allowing the ensuite to become a more private, resolved space. In addition, the lower-level garage toilet was reworked, rotated, and integrated into the new main bathroom, creating a practical shared bathroom for the three children.

The design introduces a contemporary, timeless material palette featuring large format sandy tiles, warm oak vanities, round benchtop basins, brushed stainless tapware and accessories, and carefully detailed niches for functional storage. These elements work together to create a calm, refined aesthetic with everyday durability.

Across all spaces, smart storage solutions, clean-lined joinery, and considered detailing enhance functionality while maintaining a cohesive, low-maintenance finish.

The result is a highly resolved renovation by ILK Bathrooms, delivering intelligent spatial planning, improved flow, and a warm, contemporary aesthetic tailored to family living.
