A Currumbin Waters bathroom renovation on the Gold Coast, this project focused on improving circulation and functionality within an already compact layout. The separate toilet had previously been refurbished by the client, so the existing eclectic floor tile and white wall tiles were retained and thoughtfully integrated to create continuity between spaces.

Within the bathroom, the layout was reconfigured by removing the existing bath to open up the space and improve flow. The vanity was repositioned, allowing for a more practical arrangement within the compact footprint. The shower remained in its original location but was fully upgraded with new tiling, integrated niches, and a frameless clear glass screen to enhance light and openness.

A medium walnut-look timber laminate vanity was selected, providing a warm contrast to the tiled finishes, while black tapware was used throughout to tie in with the home’s broader material palette across the kitchen and other bathrooms.

The result is a functional, cohesive bathroom renovation by ILK Bathrooms, focused on smart spatial planning and refined, consistent detailing.
